In another dimension, Poe the botanist analyses a mysterious crystal found in their garden. Both figures navigate domestic routines, where the cyclical grind of repetitive tasks slowly leads to personal transformation.
Linking their parallel haunted future is audio recordings of non-HRT voice deepening exercises as music, in contrast with the game’s digital gibberish of Simlish. The film treats both sounds as forms of pre-verbal expression, one a synthetic, commercial non-language, the other a raw, physical practice of acoustic self-determination.
Made in The Sims 4, the film crafted a meditative reflection on trans world-making, and bodily metamorphosis.
